Bangladesh V New Zealand

Dhaka, Oct 5 (http://worldsportsneslivestreaming.blogspot.com)—Bangladesh made 228 all out in 49.3 overs in the first game of the five-match one-day series against New Zealand at Sher-e-E-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

Shakib AL Hasan topscored with a fine 58 off 51 balls but the hosts kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The Tigers built early momentum with Shariar Nafees (35) and Junaid Siddique (30) putting on 27 runs for the second wicket.

But Daniel Vettori put brakes on the wheel with a skilful display of accurate spin bowling (29/2). Pacer Kyle Mills took three for 44, while Andy McKay and Jesse Ryder took two each.
